This course is  customer service based course focusing on the AIC FIAS scheme.  New elements of the code scrutinised, current issues debated and a full and in depth analysis of risk assessment in relation to FIAS basics - Safety, Legislation, Security & Traceability.

EU Drivers Hours & Tacho Operation

A back to basics look at hours and tachos, that also has an element of recent changes and what is due to change in the future.  Items covered include infringements, work patterns, required records and format of records. 

The Professional Driver

A road safety based course that will refresh knowledge, that may be a little (cough cough) old and outdated.  Highway code, Speed awareness, drink and drug driving.  Road safety provisions.  A very good reminder of the things you must learn as a new driver and then discover the law has changed, and everything you thought you knew is no longer true!

HEALTH & SAFETY EVERYDAY

A look at the history of H&S, and how we have got to where we are today!  Responsible - who is responsible - for us, and others?  Risk of physical injury,  vehicle and loading / unloading risks.  Site manoevuring.  Driving skills,  Interpersonal skills.  All with a common sense approach to the subject!

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK - Qualsafe Certificate Issued 

A one day course covering the roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider, assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and defibrillation, recovery position, choking, seizures, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.  

DRIVERS  DUTIES

A mixture of topics including licence categories, Driver CPC update, operators licecnes.  Traffic regulations, Highway code.  A look at what prosecutions have happened, patterns, misconceptions, OCRS and the driver.  Details of what has been in the news recently, what is changing in the industry and planning for the future.
